Shipping & Order Handling Policy

Order Processing

Every hampr basket is handcrafted to order — nothing sits on a shelf waiting. Once you place your order, we source, assemble, and pack your basket by hand.

Most orders are crafted and dispatched within 1–2 business days. If your basket includes board engraving or custom logo work, allow an additional 1 business day. Orders placed on weekends or Canadian public holidays begin processing the next business day.

If your basket includes an engraved item, this will be noted on the product page.

Free Local Delivery — GTA & KWC (within 25km)

We offer free local delivery within a 25km radius across the Greater Toronto Area and the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge region — including Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Oakville, and Burlington. Free local delivery applies to all orders over $50 CAD.

Because every basket is handcrafted to order, most GTA and KWC deliveries take 2–4 business days from the time your order is placed. Orders with engraving or logo work may take slightly longer.

We'll email you when your basket is out for delivery. Delivery is not scheduled on Sundays or Canadian public holidays — orders placed on those days begin crafting the next business day.

Ontario Shipping

For orders shipped within Ontario but outside our 25km local delivery radius, standard shipping rates apply at checkout. Orders over $100 CAD within Ontario qualify for free shipping, applied automatically — no code needed.

Rest of Canada — Canada Post & Purolator

For orders outside Ontario, shipping rates are calculated at checkout via Canada Post or Purolator based on your location, order weight, and dimensions. You'll see your exact shipping cost before completing your order.

You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order has been picked up by the carrier. Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by hampr. Delays caused by Canada Post, Purolator, weather, or factors outside our control are not our responsibility — but if your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we'll do everything we can to help.

Basket Photograph

We photograph your basket before it ships for bulk or corporate orders, orders with customization or engraving, and orders being delivered directly to your recipient on your behalf.

If you'd like a photo for any other order, add a note at checkout or email us at hello@hampr.ca before placing your order and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Corporate Personalization Policy

Personalization — what's included and what's not

We offer personalization on every corporate order regardless of quantity. Here's exactly what that means:

Included on every order — no MOQ:

  • Free logo or text engraving on applicable items (wooden boards, accessories)
  • Product swaps — substitute any basket item for something that better fits your brand or recipients
  • Handwritten card with your exact message on every basket

Available on smaller orders — simple logo application:

  • Basic logo label printing — a clean label with your logo applied to the basket or packaging. Simple, professional, no minimum required.

Subject to MOQ — outsourced print items:

  • Branded ribbon with your logo or name
  • Custom branded tags
  • Printed tissue paper with your brand design
  • Any fully custom printed packaging element

These items are produced by an external print supplier and require a minimum order quantity to be viable — the exact MOQ depends on the supplier and the item. If you're interested in branded ribbons or tags, contact us before ordering and we'll confirm what's possible for your volume and timeline. We'll always tell you honestly what makes sense at your scale.

Packaging & Presentation

Every basket is packed with crinkle shred, tissue paper, and a ribbon seal. Your handwritten greeting card and plantable seed paper card are placed inside — a small detail we pay attention to every time. No pricing or invoice information is ever included inside the box.

For Canada Post and Purolator orders, the basket is placed inside a plain outer shipping box to protect it in transit. The gift presentation inside is fully intact when your recipient opens it.

Returns & Refunds

Because every hampr basket is handcrafted to order using perishable and custom items, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used baskets.

If you wish to return an unopened basket in its original condition, you may do so within 7 days of delivery, subject to a 15% restocking fee on the order value. Return shipping is at the customer's expense — we do not provide return labels or cover return shipping costs. Once we receive and inspect the basket, your refund (minus the restocking fee) will be processed within 5–7 business days.

To initiate a return, email us at hello@hampr.ca with your order number before shipping anything back. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged or Missing Orders

If your order arrives damaged or doesn't arrive when expected, email us at hello@hampr.ca within 48 hours of the expected delivery date. Include your order number and a photo if you can.

We'll sort it — whether that means a replacement, a refund, or something else. We're not going to leave you with an unhappy recipient.

If a specific product in your basket is out of stock at the time of assembly, we'll substitute it with something of equal or greater value. We never downgrade. If we can't find a suitable match, we'll contact you first.

International Shipping

We currently ship within Canada only. If you have a specific international request, contact us at hello@hampr.ca and we'll do our best to help.
